Description
This tool utilizes a motor-driven system to push the central rod, extending or retracting the four caliper arms. During upward logging, the four arms maintain close contact with the borehole wall, responding to variations in the borehole diameter.
This movement drives the internal caliper potentiometer sensor in a linear motion, thereby achieving borehole diameter measurement. After simple processing, the sensor signal is transmitted to the surface recording equipment in a specific format to complete the logging operation.
Currently, it is widely used in coal field, coalbed methane, shale gas, petroleum, hydrological, and radioactive uranium mine logging.
