Description
This product utilizes a neutron generator and neutron tube to emit neutrons into the formation for measuring rock porosity. Essentially, it measures the total hydrogen content within the rock formation.
The ratio of long-spacing to short-spacing detector counting rates largely compensates for the effects of formation absorption and borehole environment on the measured values.
The controlled neutron source has a service life of up to 500 hours; its activity is equivalent to 2 Ci; consistency <5%.
